I am an 18 girl originally from Texas, but currently in Southern Florida. I have lived in 4 different states (Texas, Kansas, Florida, California then Florida again) and I can't even tell you how many cities in my lifetime. I have never lived in the same house for more than two years (with the exception of when I lived in Kansas, we were there for four). I move a lot, because my dad is a Christian pastor, specifically for the Southern Baptist denomination, but I do not consider myself a Baptist. I actually don't agree with any sort of denomination. I find them pointless and believe it just gives people a reason to argue.
I am so passionate about the Lord. I am so in love with Him, but continuously fail to live a life that always reflects Him. Praise God for His grace and forgiving nature. He rescued me from my life of pursuing sin when I was 6 years old and has been protecting me and guided my life ever since.
I often get asked if I have a boyfriend (usually by church members or nosey moms), the answer to that is, no. Boys are gross and they make weird jokes. I barely have friends, let alone a romantic relationship. Much to contrary belief, I am a hopeless romantic, I just hide it with my realistic values and sarcastic comments.
I look absolutely nothing like my two younger sisters, Kaitlyn (14) and Hannah (10). Whenever I go out with one of them, people either think I'm a friend or the babysitter. So, I have just resorted to telling people I'm from my dad's first marriage (which is true). Then, if someone does believe we are sisters, they always think Kaitlyn is the oldest because she is a good 6 inches taller than me.
(I'm 4 years her senior...this is very unfair)
I am currently a redhead, I often dye my hair because I am ridiculously indecisive. I have always had a fetish for redheads, but I do like my blonde hair as well.
I have two best friends and they are the greatest people I could ever dream of having in my life. Taylor, who I have known since the 5th grade is quirky, awkward and far too smart for her own good. When we were 10 we wrote a book series called "The Taylor and Kristen Books" and we were convinced we were going to get published if we called publishing companies and asked them nicely.
Hi Taylor!
Just after her 18th birthday, she took me to a fancy shmancy Christmas party and we took a million pictures in front of all of their Christmas trees.
My favorite color is red. I have my father's eyes and my grandmother's face. I often ponder upon random things and voice them aloud even though people think me odd when I do. It's not my fault God made me curious.
My favorite setting of worship is in nature even though I am very much an indoor girl. I find it very peaceful and eye opening to be reading God's word surrounded by the trees and beauty of all His creation. Don't be fooled though, if you ask me to go kick around a ball or run around outside, I will laugh in your face and go read a book inside.
Lastly, if there is one thing you must know about me it is that Ariel is my favorite Disney princess. My favorite thing to do on a Friday night is to lay in my bed and watch "The Little Mermaid" and every time I go to Disney World, meeting her is a must. It is my favorite part of the day!
If anyone tells you I dyed my hair red because I wanted to look like her, they're lying.
